The calendar section features about 25 pages of photos celebrating South Dakota's (launched 1941) role in the war, including her bombardment of the Japanese mainland. The calendar features humorous cartoons of naval life. Opposite the calendar is a pad of blank note paper. Both are bound into a folding 9x12 binder with a mermaid insignia embossed on the front. $25
